Review: This was my first time reading something from McNamara and Hinkle, but the premise seemed intriguing so I snapped it up. What I got in return for my leap of faith was one of the most intense graphic novels I have read in a long time. Told through black and white illustrations that are highlighted with bold, red swashes of blood, The Rattler, is jarring, gory, and remarkable all at the same time. McNamara has given readers a fast-paced, jaw-dropping tale that is so believable it’s terrifying. This is a must-add to any collection.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Who Should Snag It: If you want some horror in your reading diet, this one is for you.
